Dr. Beth O’Connor was born and raised in Lakewood, Washington. She grew up observing her father’s dedication to the dental profession and his passion for providing quality dental care to his community. This influence led Dr. O’Connor to pursue her own career as a dentist. She attended Bellarmine Preparatory School and earned an undergraduate degree from University of Washington. Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. O’Connor practiced as a registered dental hygienist from 1982 to 1986. She then returned to University of Washington and earned her Dental Degree in 1990.
Dr. O’Connor took over her father’s practice in the Lakewood Dental Building in 1998 and has been providing caring, personalized attention to her patients ever since.
Dr. O’Connor combines advanced dental technology with a gentle, friendly style. She is influential in the local dental community, leading and attending study groups for continuing education.
Outside of work, Dr. Beth and her husband, Dr. Ross Drangsholt, live in Lakewood with their 3 children. She is a tri-athlete, skier and sports enthusiast! Dr. O’Connor is also an avid supporter her children’s rowing passions. She even enjoys rowing on a masters rowing team herself!
Dr. Jennifer Fields grew up in Minneapolis, MN and graduated from The Blake School in 2001. She then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating with distinction with a B.S. in Biology and a Certificate in Business in 2005. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Dr. Jenny continued her studies at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, where she obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2009. Dr. Fields likes to focus on providing patients with thorough examinations, and enjoys educating patients on how to achieve optimal and lasting oral health. Delivering high-quality care in a comfortable setting is always her number one priority.
Dr. Jenny is an active member of the American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
Outside of the office, Dr. Fields enjoys all aspects of outdoor life in the Pacific Northwest. You can find her hiking, waterskiing, kayaking, downhill skiing, scuba diving, and exploring the many beautiful areas nearby with her husband, Derek and son Andy. They are fairly new to Washington and love to cook while entertaining family and friends.
